Trash Burro offers timely, attentive waste removal services helping to assure a cleaner, healthier Taos.

Burro is a locally-owned and operated waste pickup alternative for Taos Ski Valley, El Prado, Arroyo Hondo, Valdez, Arroyo Seco and Des Montes.

A gap in access to waste removal service for certain parts of our community inspired an audacious endeavor. If you don’t have access to trash service, Burro might just be your solution to turning trash removal into a breath of fresh air.

Burro provides one 90 gallon trash tote and weekly concierge trash service (you don’t have to roll it to the road) per subscription.

Starting limited service routes August 1, 2025, Burro will expand our service areas as community demand and business allows. Please request service using the contact form below and get confirmation that your address is eligible for service right away before subscribing and making a payment.
